Laundry Performance & Operating Benefits

In healthcare, hospitality and institutional laundry, performance and fabric care go hand-in-hand. Oxycare peracetic acid (PAA) solutions deliver powerful oxidation and bleaching at lower temperatures, helping reduce energy and water use while being gentle on fabrics. Use Oxycare as a drop-in alternative to traditional chlorine systems to simplify cycles and improve textile life.

How Oxycare Works in Laundry

Oxycare is a low-pH peracetic acid-based oxidizing agent. In the wash stage, PAA breaks down soils and oxidizes stains while decomposing to acetic acid, oxygen and water. The chemistry helps maintain a lower overall alkalinity and total dissolved solids (TDS), supporting softer hand feel and extended textile life.

  • Improve cost savings with less water and lower temperatures
  • Lower-temperature action reduces energy usage and fabric wear.
  • Drop-in alternative to chlorine-based systems.
  • Lower-alkali, lower-pH washing for softer textiles and fewer rejects.
  • Powerful oxidant with dynamic bleaching properties that is color-safe.
  • Reduces water consumption by eliminating a separate rinse step.
  • Available in multiple strengths to match process needs.
